Paper 1
Revise: Principles of training and overloadSPORT describes the principles of training, while FITT describes features of training that can be adjusted to achieve overload.
Paper 2
Organised competition between individuals or teams that involves physical activity.
Revise: Physical activity and sport in the UKPhysical activity is wider than competitive sport. Someone might be physically active through walking, cycling or fitness classes without belonging to a sports team. Sport involves organised physical competition, such as a football match or swimming race.
In SPORT, P and O belong together: progressive overload. There are four named principles, not five.
For specificity, be precise about matching training to the sport, movements, muscles or energy systems used.
