Paper 1
Revise: PolymersThermosetting polymers set permanently during a process called curing. Once cured, they cannot be melted and reshaped. Setting does not always require heating: epoxy resin, for example, can cure after its resin and hardener are mixed.
- Revise: Shaping, forming and joining polymers
The chemical process by which a resin hardens and sets permanently.
- Revise: Prototyping tools and processes
The process by which an adhesive or reactive resin sets or hardens to develop its strength.

- Revise: Specialist techniques and processes
The process through which an adhesive sets or hardens to develop its intended bond strength.
