Revise: Music in WorshipContemporary worship songs set a biblical verse or a simple Christian message to modern music, often using guitars or keyboards. They commonly have short verses and repeated refrains. Repetition can help worshippers concentrate on a short prayer and make a song easier to learn.
- Revise: Traditional Music in Worship
A song used to express praise, prayer or religious commitment; the term can overlap with ‘hymn’ and does not necessarily mean contemporary music.
