Sharing the Gospel with others with the intention of encouraging them to become Christians.
Revise: Mission, Evangelism and GrowthEvangelism is the sharing of the Gospel, meaning the ‘good news’ about Jesus, his teachings and salvation. Its intention is to encourage others to become Christians. Mission and evangelism therefore overlap, but mission is wider: it can include practical care as well as explaining Christian beliefs.
