Revise: Contrasting Beliefs on Peace and ConflictChristianity and Islam both value peace and human life. However, sharing those values does not mean that all believers agree about how to respond to violence. One person may believe that refusing to harm anyone is the only morally acceptable response.

Connect each teaching to the issue: explain why loving enemies might lead a Christian to reject violence, for example.
Explain how a teaching supports a view: quoting ‘Love your enemies’ is not enough without linking it to rejecting violence or protecting others.
Distinguish a protest’s aim from its methods: supporting justice does not automatically mean supporting violence.
