Revise: Violence and ProtestA protest expresses opposition to something and seeks change. In a democratic society such as Britain, protest allows people to challenge decisions and draw attention to injustice. Marches, petitions and demonstrations can give people a voice when they feel ignored.
Distinguish a protest’s aim from its methods: supporting justice does not automatically mean supporting violence.
