A boundary dividing ordered data into quarters. The lower quartile, , has approximately 25% of values below it; the upper quartile, , has approximately 75% below it. The median is the second quartile.

Put individual values in numerical order before finding the median or quartiles. Show which values you used.
Give the units for averages, quartiles, range and inter-quartile range. Percentage change has a % sign, not the original measurement unit.
