Revise: Assembling MethodsA bottoming or plug tap can finish the thread near the bottom of a blind hole. Clear chips frequently: chips collect at the bottom, and forcing the tap against them or against the hole bottom can break it. Remove swarf with a suitable brush rather than bare fingers.
