Geometric Measurements and Properties
What you need to know
Calculate the perimeter and total area of rectangles and circles.
Evaluate the area of various two-dimensional polygons, specifically triangles, parallelograms, and trapezia.
Determine the complete surface area and enclosed volume of three-dimensional structures including prisms, cylinders, spheres, cones, and pyramids.
Apply internal and external angle properties corresponding to parallel lines, intersecting lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, and general polygons.
Understand and utilize fundamental circle theorems to deduce unknown angles.
Deduce that the angle at the center of a circle is strictly twice the angle at the circumference.
Recognize and apply the rule that angles subtended in the same geometric segment are equal.
Calculate angles utilizing the property that opposite angles in a cyclic quadrilateral systematically sum to 180 degrees.
Apply the alternate segment theorem correctly in circle geometry.
