An outcome or collection of outcomes whose probability is being considered.
Revise: Estimating probabilities from collected dataA probability describes how likely an event is to happen. Sometimes we cannot work out its exact value from the possible outcomes, so we use collected data instead. For example, to estimate the probability that a chicken egg has two yolks, we could examine a sample of eggs and record how many have two yolks.
