Paper 3
Revise: Places of WorshipWorship may focus on Shiva’s image, including his dancing form, Nataraja, or on a linga, a sacred symbol of Shiva. Devotees may pour milk over the linga as an offering; this is practised at a Shiva temple in Wembley, London. Devotional poetry is also important: the poems of the Nayanmars, South Indian singer-saints, continue to be recited in Shiva’s honour.
