Revise: Reliability and ValidityExternal reliability concerns consistency from one use of a measure to another. If a test is repeated under similar conditions, and the characteristic being measured has not changed, it should produce similar results. For example, a questionnaire should not give very different scores on two occasions simply because its instructions are unclear.
