A rectangle’s diagonals are equal and bisect each other, but they are not generally perpendicular. A rhombus’s diagonals are perpendicular and bisect each other, but they are not generally equal.
For a kite, only one diagonal bisects the other. Do not claim that the diagonals bisect each other.
