Revise: Nazi Racial Policy and the HolocaustOn 21 September 1939, Reinhard Heydrich ordered the concentration of Polish Jews in large towns and cities near railway lines. This made communities easier to control and provided access to transport for later deportations. The first ghetto opened at Piotrków in October 1939; a major ghetto opened at Łódź in February 1940.

Revise: The HolocaustDuring the mass deportations of summer 1942, large numbers of Jews from the Warsaw ghetto were sent to Treblinka.
Keep examples within 1924–41. The deportation of Volga Germans in 1941 is relevant; later Stalinist campaigns fall outside this topic.
Explain escalation, not just chronology: link conquest to Nazi control over more Jews, and link occupation to opportunities for deportation and mass murder.
Avoid presenting one fixed route followed by every victim. Mass shootings continued alongside deportations to death camps.
