Revise: Social Policy and PracticeBy 1945, approximately six million Jews had been murdered in the Holocaust. The process had escalated from exclusion and loss of rights to imprisonment, deportation and genocide. War expanded the territory and populations under Nazi control, enabling the regime to carry out persecution and murder on a far greater scale.
