Revise: Taiga characteristicsThe taiga, also known as boreal forest, is a cold-climate forest found mainly in the northern hemisphere. Its long, very cold winters contrast with a short summer growing season. Summer brings warmer conditions and more available water, but plants have only a few months in which to grow actively.
