A coating that is hardened using ultraviolet light, applied across a whole surface or only to selected areas.

UV varnish is a liquid coating that is cured—hardened—using ultraviolet light. Unlike a conventional coating that must wait to dry, it hardens rapidly under the appropriate UV equipment. It provides a hardwearing surface suited to printed products that receive frequent handling.
