Solder bridge

Before powering the finished circuit, inspect it for missing or incorrectly fitted components, damaged tracks and solder bridges. With the power disconnected, use a multimeter to check continuity along intended connections and check for unintended short circuits. These checks help distinguish a manufacturing fault from a problem in the circuit design.
