A textile made by joining fibres directly into a sheet rather than weaving or knitting yarns.
Revise: Non-Woven TextilesA non-woven textile is a sheet of fibres held together without weaving or knitting yarns. A fibre is an individual strand; a yarn is a longer thread formed from fibres. Non-woven manufacture joins the fibres directly, so they do not first need to be spun into yarns.
