Revise: Calculating Data CapacityThe sample rate is the number of samples taken each second, measured in hertz (Hz). The bit depth is the number of bits stored for each sample.
The number of samples of a sound wave taken each second, measured in Hertz (Hz).
Explain the mechanism as well as the outcome: a higher sample rate means more samples per second; a higher bit depth means more bits per sample.
Sample rate is measured in Hz, bit depth in bits per sample, and duration in seconds. A size calculated in bits must be divided by 8 to convert it to bytes.
