Traditional media

Traditional media, such as newspapers, television and radio, can bring a campaign to an established audience. Campaigners might send a local newspaper evidence of a problem, offer an interview to a radio programme or invite television reporters to an event. A local newspaper can reach residents and councillors; national television can bring an issue to a much wider public.
