Revise: Recruitment and SelectionCarry out job analysis.** Investigate the work involved: what tasks must be completed, what responsibilities the employee will have and what abilities they need. This helps the business identify the vacancy and prepare accurate recruitment documents.
Keep the documents distinct: a job description describes the job; a person specification describes the person needed to do it. Job analysis is the investigation used to prepare both.
