Revise: Photosynthesis ReactionThe coefficients balance the equation because atoms are rearranged rather than created or destroyed. There are 6 carbon atoms, 12 hydrogen atoms and 18 oxygen atoms on each side.
When balancing the symbol equation, change the large coefficients in front of formulae, never the small subscript numbers within a chemical formula.
