Sexual orientation

Here, sexuality means sexual orientation: a person’s pattern of sexual or romantic attraction, for example being heterosexual, gay, lesbian or bisexual. This is distinct from gender. Homophobia is prejudice, hostility or discrimination towards people because they are, or are perceived to be, gay or lesbian.
