Revise: Deception in ResearchDeception occurs when a researcher intentionally misleads people about an important aspect of that research. A researcher might give a false explanation of the study’s purpose or conceal their identity as a researcher.
When evaluating deception, connect each argument to its consequence: concealing the research may reveal more natural behaviour, but prevents people from making an informed choice.
