Revise: Conflict View of FeminismThe class deal promises material rewards from legitimate work, such as wages, consumer goods and independence. Poverty, poor pay and limited employment opportunities can undermine this promise. If hard work offers little prospect of security, a woman may see less reason to remain committed to it.
