Used by AQA and Eduqas
Paper 1
Revise: Worldwide ChurchThe worldwide Church is the community of Christians across the world, not a single building or organisation. It includes Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant Christians. Although denominations differ in their beliefs and practices, Christians can recognise a responsibility towards one another and towards people outside their own faith.
Paper 2
The worldwide community of Christians across different countries and denominations, rather than one church building or organisation.
Revise: The Worldwide ChurchThe Worldwide Church means the global community of Christians. It includes many denominations, such as Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, Baptist and Methodist churches. These have differences in beliefs, worship and leadership, but share their commitment to Jesus Christ.
Distinguish the worldwide Church, meaning the Christian community, from a church building.
