Revise: Mission, Evangelism and GrowthChurch growth includes increasing the number of believers and congregations, as well as helping people develop their faith. Evangelism can contribute to growth when people choose to become Christians and join a worshipping community.
Paper 2
An increase in the number of Christians or Christian congregations.
Revise: The Worldwide ChurchChurch growth is a possible result: more people become Christians and new congregations develop. Mission is the activity, evangelism is the sharing of the message, and growth is an outcome.
For Church growth, explain how a named approach reaches people, rather than simply listing organisations.
Distinguish mission, evangelism and church growth rather than treating them as identical.
