Paper 2
An ethical approach which judges actions by what would be the most loving thing to do in a particular situation, rather than applying fixed rules regardless of circumstances.
Revise: Contrasting Beliefs on ContraceptionSome Christians use situation ethics, asking which decision would show the most selfless love in the particular circumstances. They may conclude that using contraception is more loving than having a child whom the parents cannot properly support. The contrast is therefore between following a fixed rule against artificial contraception and judging its use by its purpose and consequences.
