Paper 3
Revise: Islamic Key ConceptsA mosque, also called a masjid, is a communal place of worship for Muslims. It allows members of a Muslim community to gather for prayer rather than worshipping only individually.
Do not suggest that Muslims can pray only in a mosque; prayer can take place in any suitable clean place.
The ummah is the worldwide Muslim community, not just the congregation of one mosque.
