The Book of Faith: the section of the Sahih Muslim Hadith collection containing teachings about belief, including the Hadith of Gabriel studied as Kitab al-iman 1:4.
Kitab al-iman, meaning Book of Faith, is the section of the Sahih Muslim Hadith collection concerned with faith. The passage Kitab al-iman 1:4 records an encounter in which a man asks Muhammad about religion. Muhammad later identifies the visitor as Gabriel, who had come to teach people their religion.
Use Kitab al-iman 1:4 to support a relevant point, then explain how its teaching relates to the question.
Use Kitab al-iman as a source of teaching about faith, not as the name of one of the six beliefs.
Kitab al-iman 1:4 explicitly mentions Allah, angels, books, messengers, meeting Allah and resurrection. Do not claim that this passage’s definition of faith explicitly lists al-Qadr.
