Gurpurbs

Gurpurbs are anniversaries commemorating events in the Gurus’ lives, including births and deaths. They help Sikhs remember the Gurus and reflect on their teachings and example. Celebrations may include an akhand path, a continuous reading of the whole Guru Granth Sahib, as well as communal worship and langar.
