Revise: Christianity, Non-Religion, and the AfterlifeA Pentecostal funeral may feature lively worship songs, prayers emphasising the Holy Spirit, and eulogies describing the deceased’s life and faith. The celebration reflects belief that the person has gone to be with the Lord, while scripture offers hope of resurrection. Celebration does not mean that mourners feel no sadness.
