Revise: Equality of Men and Women in the FamilyLiberal Protestants commonly support egalitarianism: shared authority and roles that are not fixed by sex. They argue that biblical instructions were written within male-dominated societies and should be interpreted in that context. They see equal partnership as a way to express the biblical teaching that both sexes bear God's image.
