The region around a magnet where another magnet or a magnetic material experiences a force.
Revise: Magnetic fieldsThe region around the magnet where it can exert a force on another magnet or on a magnetic material is its magnetic field. Iron, steel, cobalt and nickel are magnetic materials. A magnet always attracts a magnetic material, whereas another magnet can be attracted or repelled depending on which poles face each other.

- Revise: Induced potential
A region in which a magnet or magnetic material experiences a force.
