The direction in which positive charge is treated as flowing, from the positive terminal of a supply to its negative terminal.
Revise: ElectromagnetismThe direction of the field depends on the direction of the conventional current. Use the right-hand grip rule: point your right thumb in the direction of conventional current and curl your fingers around the wire. Your curled fingers give the direction of the circular magnetic field.
