Revise: Correct energy balanceThe body gets energy from food and drink. This is energy intake. Food energy is commonly measured in kilocalories (kcal), often called Calories.
Compare energy intake with total energy expenditure, not just the energy used during exercise.
Do not assume that exercising more always causes weight loss: energy intake may also increase.
Equal energy intake and expenditure maintains an existing weight; it does not automatically make that weight healthy.
