A drug that increases water loss through urination, reducing body mass.
Diuretics cause water loss, not fat loss. Their intended advantages are making a weight category or masking other drugs, rather than directly improving fitness.
Distinguish muscle mass from body mass: anabolic agents increase muscle mass, whereas diuretics reduce body mass through water loss.
