Non-player character (NPC)

Male characters were less prominent, although many NPCs in the Management building were male. The ‘Charm’ and ‘Fashion’ instructors could be read as countertypes, challenging the expectation that men should avoid interests associated with appearance and style. Producer ‘Teddy’ could be interpreted as male or female.
