Revise: Histograms and Cumulative FrequencyIf unequal class widths were given heights equal to their frequencies, a wide interval would receive an unfairly large area.
For unequal class widths, calculate frequency density before drawing a histogram; bar height is not frequency.
To recover a frequency from a histogram, multiply the bar’s frequency density by its class width.
Remember that frequency is represented by a histogram bar's area, not simply its height. Use .
