Revise: Case Study: The Battle of NasebyCharles’s Royalists faced Parliament’s recently established New Model Army, commanded overall by Sir Thomas Fairfax. Oliver Cromwell commanded Parliament’s cavalry on its right wing; he was not the commander of the whole army.
