Revise: Case Study: The Battle of NasebyCromwell sent only part of his cavalry to pursue Langdale’s retreating men and prevent them from returning. He retained control of most of his force and ordered it to wheel left towards the Royalist infantry. His horsemen could now strike that infantry in its flank and rear while it was still fighting Parliament’s foot soldiers.
