Revise: Controlling AttitudesThe Nazis pursued a different approach to Protestantism: they attempted to bring Protestant churches together in a unified Reich Church under Ludwig Müller, who became Reich Bishop in 1933. This was intended to align church organisation and teaching with Nazism rather than leave independent religious authorities outside Nazi influence.
Distinguish the Catholic Concordat from the Protestant Reich Church. An agreement or an attempt at control does not prove that the Nazis achieved complete control.
