Revise: Letchworth Garden City, 1903 to PresentNon-conformists were Protestant Christians outside the established Church of England. Their presence in Letchworth is shown by the Primitive Methodist chapel on Broadway and Howgills, the Quaker Meeting House. These institutions demonstrate that the Garden City was a social and religious community as well as a housing project.
