Flavian dynasty

The struggle culminated in the civil wars of AD 69, from which Vespasian emerged as emperor, establishing the Flavian dynasty. Bolanus governed during this upheaval; Cerialis and Frontinus served as the new regime became established. Their achievements should be judged against these different circumstances.
