Revise: TradeThe Act also restricted the destinations of named enumerated goods. These included sugar, tobacco, cotton-wool, indigo, ginger and dyeing woods. They could not be sent directly to foreign markets: permitted destinations included England and other English plantations, as well as Ireland and Wales under the Act’s wording.
