Revise: Civil Rights 1965–75During Richard Nixon’s presidency, the federal government supported training for Black people establishing businesses and offered favourable tax arrangements to white-owned businesses expanding into Black neighbourhoods. It encouraged affirmative action in employment, and more Black officials worked in the White House.
