A graph plotting paired numerical values as separate points to show the relationship between two variables.

Revise: Bivariate Data and Evaluating Statistical PresentationA scatter graph makes the relationship visible. Put one variable on the horizontal axis and the other on the vertical axis, label both with their units, and choose suitable numerical scales with equal intervals. Plot one point for each pair of measurements.
Do not join the individual points on a scatter graph. Draw an estimated line of best fit through the centre of the overall pattern.
