Redevelopment

Redevelopment improves the physical environment by clearing or refurbishing buildings and providing new housing or business premises. Regeneration concerns wider improvements, particularly employment and quality of life. New buildings can support regeneration, but physical change alone does not ensure that existing residents benefit.
