Revise: Scales of ProductionEquipment may need adjusting, tooling may need replacing and production may pause between batches. These changes add cost. If a batch is larger than demand, unsold products also tie up money and materials.
Explain cost advantages: expensive tooling can be economical when its cost is spread over many products, reducing the cost per item.
